MODULE "A": HEALTHCARE & SOCIAL SERVICE FOCUS
This 2-day workshop is geared toward providers whose work primarily focuses on the medical and/or social needs of clients. Such professionals may include nurses, midwives, doulas, physicians, lactation consultants, home visitors, social service providers, and others.

Handouts, coffee and water service are included in the registration fees.
There will be no reduction in fees for partial attendance.
Module "A" vs. Module "B"
Modules "A" and "B" are different 2-day workshops. While the content outlines of the two modules are similar, the focus of materials presented will be from two different perspectives in the two modules. In Module “A” (Healthcare & Social Service Focus) we will give general information about psychiatric treatment of maternal mental health conditions, and will offer specific instructions on how non-psychiatric providers can assume an adjunct or complimentary role in recognizing mental illness and providing treatment. In Module “B” (Mental Health Focus) we will provide training in the psychotherapeutic treatment of maternal mental health conditions while highlighting the role of non-mental health providers as part of a holistic approach. Day 1 vs. Day 2
Day 1 offers basic training. It is recommended for professionals who have not attended any workshops or who have taken a 1-3 hour long basic training on Maternal/ Perinatal/ Postpartum Mental Health. Day 2 offers advanced training. It is recommended for professionals who will also attend Day 1 or who have attended longer workshops of 4-6 hours on this subject in the past and are familiar with material listed in the workshop content outline of Day 1 below.
Workshop Aides
Save about 50% of your cost by working as an aide at the beginning and end of each day, and during breaks. Workshop Aide Registration Fee is $40/day. Must sign up for both days. Please contact Csilla Andor at csilla.andor@wellmama.org or (541) 231-4343. Space is limited.
Lunch
Lunch break is from 12 noon to 1 p.m.. Lunch is available at the university cafeteria on the premises. Lunch is not included in the registration fees.
Parking
Albany Workshops: Free parking lot in front of the building (Calapooia Center). Eugene: Parking is $8 per day on the campus of the University of Oregon. Please allow 20 minutes to purchase a $8 Visitor Permit for the day and to park. To purchase a Visitor Permit, please drive to the Public Safety office at 1319 E. 15th Ave., (Straub Hall), across from the Student Recreation Center between University St. and Agate St. You will receive instructions as to where to park for the day. The parking information you are reading here will be included in your email confirmation of your registration. Please print that and bring it with you. (Metered parking on campus is for max. 5 hours, and costs 4 quarters per hour.) With any other parking related questions please call the University of Oregon Department of Public Safety at 541-346-5444.
6 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) Per Day (12 for Two-day Workshop)
All workshop attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 6 CECs per day, regardless of their licensure or Board requirements. We cannot provide CECs for partial day attendance.

Nurses: According to the Oregon State Board of Nursing, each nurse has to go through the board of his or her nursing specialty.

Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs): The Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists advised WellMama that LPCs and LMFTs file for their own CECs with the Certificate of Completion they receive at the end of the workshop.

Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to Csilla Andor at csilla.andor@wellmama.org. Cancellations will not be valid until the registrant receives voice or email confirmation that their request was received and approved. If you have to cancel your registration, you are encouraged to call Csilla Andor at (541) 231-4343 to confirm that your cancellation email request was received. Refunds will be given on requests emailed by no later than 12 noon on the Monday before the workshop dates that are the subject of the cancellation. A $20.00 per person processing fee will be deducted from all cancellation refunds.
If any of the workshops is cancelled by WellMama, Inc. due to severe weather or other unforeseen problems fees will be fully refunded.

About WellMama and the Speakers
WellMama Maternal Mental Health & Support Services, Inc. www.wellmama.org specializes in serving the emotional health needs of women during pregnancy and postpartum, as well, as other reproductive health related events and concerns, such as infertility, perinatal loss and adoption. WellMama also provides workshops and trainings to providers who work with pregnant and postpartum women and their families. WellMama client services include free Pregnancy/ Postpartum Support Groups in Eugene and Corvallis, Oregon; free Phone/ Email Support to pregnant/ postpartum mothers in the Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon; and Counseling/ Psychotherapy in Eugene and Corvallis with regards to reproductive health related events and concerns: pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal loss, infertility and adoption.
Csilla Andor, MSW, LCSW, is Executive Director of WellMama, Inc. She is an Oregon state coordinator for Postpartum Support International (PSI), and is the co-chair of the Lane County Perinatal Mood Disorders Consortium. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has worked extensively as a medical and psychiatric social worker and has had psychotherapy practices in California and in Eugene and Corvallis, OR. Csilla has regularly provided workshops on maternal mental health in multiple settings over the last five years.
Amy-Rose White, MSW, CSWA, CHt, is Executive Director of Programs and a therapist at WellMama, Inc. She is an Oregon state coordinator for Postpartum Support International (PSI), and is a member of the Lane County Perinatal Mood Disorders Consortium. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) and is a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt). She has worked in the field of maternal and early childhood mental health and education for over twelve years, and has a psychotherapy and hypnotherapy practice in Eugene, OR. Amy-Rose speaks regularly on the topic of maternal mental health to a variety of Lane County agencies and sits on multiple county committees dedicated to improving health outcomes in women, children and families.
Postpartum Support International (PSI)
www.postpartum.net PSI was founded by Jane Honikman in 1987, and is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. PSI has volunteer coordinators in every one of the United States and in 26 countries. PSI disseminates information and resources through its volunteer coordinators, its website and its annual international conference. The goal of PSI is to provide current information, resources, education, and to advocate for further research and legislation to support maternal mental health. The mission of PSI is to promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing in every country worldwide. It is the vision of PSI that every woman and family worldwide will have access to information, social support, and informed professional care to deal with mental health issues related to childbearing. PSI promotes this vision through advocacy and collaboration, and by educating and training the professional community and the public.
